John Skinner, a former United States Army military officer, is an intellectual property (“IP”) litigation and corporate attorney specializing in the Internet, Software & Telecommunications technology industries.  As a registered patent and trademark attorney he is capable of handling a variety of IP litigation, transaction and prosecution requirements. He has broad experience relating to both in-house and law firm practice management which thereby allows him to provide expert guidance on a broad range of intellectual property legal issues. 

 

Throughout his career, John has successfully represented some of the nation's leading technology companies.  As an inventor of the Method and Apparatus for a Fixed Wireless Broadband Access and Wireless LAN Integration, for which he was awarded U.S. Patent Ser. No. 7,289,478, he specializes in serving clients in the technological areas of: e-commerce, business and finance systems; computer software, hardware and networking; digital/analog data transmission, reception and processing circuits; wire and wireless signal communication devices and networks; electrical power supply and semiconductor circuits; and electronic and electro-mechanical devices.
